Okay everyone- we are going to try doing a blog on this trip so that you can have the rare opporunity of keeping us with us on our travels. I may even try to include photos ( but not now) of our adventures. Good news is that we made it to Hawaii yesterday of many hours of travel - left DC 7 AM, and arrived on Kauai at 5:30 PM ( 11:30 PM DC time) and then drove up to Hanali Bay to find our modest, but comfortable, inn. We are only a block from the beach. Have had a leisurely morning- long walk on the beach and a swim. Hope to either go for a hike or kayaking or snorkeling later today It is as beautiful as the pictures and the water is glorious. So, will do more later and hope that this will be a good way to stay in touch. Love, Deb
